An obscure Mexican slice of plaintive Anglo beat. This sounds like it was recorded circa 1965, but in fact was released in 1971. This vaquero must have locked himself in a tiny room with fifty 45s and hid away for six years. Hats off to him for that. Ten gallon or not.
The recent market price for an original vinyl copy was reputedly close to $1,000. Why, looking at the FTSE 100 and Dow Jones index as the week tumbles to a close, that must now be close to 50 cents in real terms.
"I can't" ? I can. If it gets you into a sultry hispanic girl's underwear, it's good enough for me.
