EXCLUSIVE • triage | poems r us
The second instalment in a series
of readings culled from the BLEACHERS' back pages. Please bare with me. The naked essence of the recording may drift into the red on occasion. A streaker stepping off of the benches to tango up in blue. Originally here.

Someone left a corpse out in the rain. Sweet green needles flowing down. Spring, like hope, is ever waiting for us.
Apologies to the recipes of dear old Jimmy Webb.
Love it. I'm almost tempted to persuade Gus Ghost to assist me in covering it. Move aside, Richard Harris.
Keep'em coming, brutha.

More to come, once I get the mic adjusted. My old machine does not have an external mic input, it transpires, so I'm stuck with built-in which picks up a lot of raw ambient noise. Thanks for your input. Your mix gets rid of a lot of that nasal resonance. And the pops. Don't know if I subscribe to speeding up the voice entirely. Kind of makes me sound a little too much like Ewan Mcgregor.
I most humbly apologize for the Ewan Mcgregor. As Jonder commented:"voice slowed down a bit", I too noticed not just age or alcohol or ennui but a mechanical slowing & just tried to fix. Guess I overdid it. I really was just trying to get the MacArthur Park loop layered. Try the NØ remix...

Now I get it! Lovin' it. No need to apologise. I guess it's not just the voice that has grown slow. I'm gonna post this, the MacArthur Park loop works great. Brilliant.
How about that! I didn't know Nathan was a master of the mixing desk. NØN-U Soundz! Bravo to both of you. I'm flattered to see my own nom de blog though I don't feel I deserve any credit.
Your contribution started the ball rolling. Now I am wondering whether between us we can persuade other parties to actively participate in this project. A Web[b] thang. A Kingston party.
A wonderful idea. I'm glad to be invited to the party.
